ekarimnagar : BSNL to install more cell phone towers at karimnagar district

KARIMNAGAR: Karimnagar district BSNL General Manager BC Nagaraju on Thursday said that they had decided to provide better cellular phone services to its customers by installing 100 new cellular phone towers in various parts of the district.

Talking to newsmen on the occasion of BSNL Formation Day celebrations, he said that presently they were having 141 Cellone phone towers in the district and installation of Cellone towers would be a continuous process. To a query, he clarified that the cellular phone towers would not cause any harm to the people.

He said that they were having a total of 46,000 landline connections under 134 exchanges and 1.53 lakh BSNL mobile phone connections in the district, besides 7,000 WLL (wireless on local loop) phone connections.
